Dillwhips will talk on and on about whether or not Barack Obama deserves the Nobel Peace Prize. Based on the history of the organization, I'd say he does deserve it. Follow me.
This is the same organization that ignored the hand up Jimmy Carter gave to Robert Mugabe and the Ayatollah Komeini. The result has been more than three decades of violent destruction of the economy and government in Zimbabwe, the former Rhodesia, and the rise of modern, militant islam across the globe. For all of the death and tyranny Carter caused by backing these two, he was eventually given the Nobel Peace Prize in 2002.
Fast forward to yesterday, when Barack Obama signaled that he would be okay with the Taliban having a hand in governing Afghanistan. Is there anymore logical reason to give this man the award? Like Carter's actions (and inactions) that have led to millions of deaths and endless suffering in Africa and the Middle East, Obama's wink and nod to the Taliban will cause death and suffering to whichever part of Afghanistan the Taliban is allowed to control.
It is fitting, then, that the Nobel Peace Prize committee has selected Barack Obama. He's doing his very best to allow tryanny and radical islam to ruin the lives of people on the brink of freedom in a new, fragile democracy. Nice call, Nobels.
